In shadows deep, where silence weeps,

I lost myself in endless sleeps,

A soul once bright, now dimmed and gray,

In amber’s grip, I slipped away.

Each sip I took, a dream would fade,

A future bright, by darkness swayed,

The laughter gone, replaced by tears,

Consumed by all my hidden fears.

The days blurred into endless nights,

Where hope once lived, now only fights,

A mind enslaved, a heart in chains,

In liquid fire, I sought remains.

Once steady hands now only shake,

As every promise starts to break,

In mirrors cracked, I see a ghost,

A hollow shell of what I’ve lost.

My loved ones drift like autumn leaves,

Their whispered prayers, their silent grieves,

For in the glass, a storm would brew,

Consuming all I ever knew.

Yet deep inside, a spark remains,

A whispered plea through binding chains,

For every fall, a chance to rise,

To chase away these clouded skies.

But until then, the night prevails,

With tales of woe, with mournful wails,

Of how I fell to amber’s kiss,

Of all the love and life I miss.
